PlantESP is a plant-wide monitoring and optimization solution that isolates underperforming PID controllers and provides recommendations for improving them. This is a Control Engineering 2013 Engineers' Choice finalistPlantESP from Control Station makes is easier for engineers to deliver consistent and profitable control. With 100s or even 1,000s of control loops, identifying poorly performing controllers presents a challenge. PlantESP identifies those under performing PIDs automatically, and it guides users to a quick resolution.

Version 2 includes new interaction analysis tools for identifying the root-cause of performance issues, and enhanced reporting tools keep users aware of plant-wide trends that could negatively impact production and profitability.
