Uniformance Asset Sentinel is the next generation in asset-centric analytics solution for continuous surveillance of process and equipment health performance. The solution provides a complex event processing (CEP) engine to fuse process, event, and transactional data into a analytic and decision support environment to predict and detect events requiring investigation and intervention to reduce the impact of unplanned capacity loss from equipment downtime, process inefficiencies or quality loss.
Asset Sentinel has embedded engineering content and is not an empty shell. It includes first principles models for compressors, pumps, turbines, and heat exchangers. It includes a thermodynamic property package and link to Honeywell’s UniSim simulation environment. This capability provides the ability to have high fidelity performance model to compare current operating performance against predicted alert on deviations.
Finally, the technology is applicable across industries from oil and gas, chemicals, refining, power, mining, and aerospace, and has demonstrated results by saving millions of dollars in unplanned capacity loss and increasing engineering effectiveness in these industries.
