Control Engineering
Moxa continues its legacy of leadership in networking technology with the VPort 36-1MP-IVA-T IP camera, which includes onboard Intelligent Video Analysis functions for quick detection of a wide variety of threats. Using advanced image analysis algorithms, the VPort 36-1MP-IVA-T can proactively alert surveillance staff to abnormal events. The unattended object detection feature allows the administrator to create rules to detect objects that remain without movement over a specified amount of time. The missing object analysis will detect when an item is removed from a specified area.
The virtual fence option allows the administrator to set up rules to create a virtual or existing fence line detection zone that will detect movement crossing over the line. Rules are set for direction and sensitivity. With detection zones, an area can be specified with rules for alerting surveillance staff to movement within the area. Non-essential activity outside the defined area will not trigger an alert. The VPort 36-1MP-IVA-T camera installs outdoors inside a standard camera enclosure and is designed so it does not require a heater or cooling fan, resulting in reduced energy consumption and simplified, more cost-effective installation.
Since it supports Power Over Ethernet, a single cable can connect the VPort 36-1MP-IVA-T directly to a 802.3af PoE switch for both data and power over the network. This industrial-grade IP network camera is capable of withstanding a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 75°C (-40°F to 167°F). The VPort 36-1MP-IVA-T camera is ideal for remote site installations, pipeline management, power substations and any other surveillance application where a quick response is essential.
