STR910F Series of embedded flash microcontrollers (MCUs) combines Ethernet connectivity, an ARM9E processor core, and large embedded SRAM and flash memories in a general-purpose flash microcontroller family. Line is said to create new possibilities for system designers to transform powerful embedded-control applications into low-cost local area network or Internet nodes. Developed to meet growing demands for higher-performance embedded-control applications and to enable Ethernet connectivity, the devices are an extension of the company's STR7XX Series of ARM7TDMI-based MCUs. Applications include industrial control and factory automation, serial-protocol gateways, building automation, and portable instrumentation. www.st.com STMicroelectronics
