Glen, Burnie, MD, and Milford, NH – Finding the right enclosure size and type for larger components and high-power applications is as important as ensuring airflow and temperatures inside enclosures to promote long life for controls, automation, or instrumentation that go inside. Recent introductions can help with both. See photos.

Fibox Enclosures expanded the upper range of sizes for Arca enclosure product line, for larger components and high power applications.

Fibox Enclosures expands the Fibox Arca enclosure line with the addition of two new sizes, 18 x 16 x 10 in.robustness, superior chemical resistance, and wide temperature range. Enclosures protect electrical and electronic equipment in industrial applications including chemical manufacturing, pulp and paper manufacturing, wastewater treatment systems, clean energy including wind and solar, and hostile indoor and outdoor environments.
With opaque or transparent covers, the enclosureinner panels are available in either metal or non-metallic versions. Enclosure latches can be metal or non-metallic, and are available with or without padlock option.

Degree Controls offers the Cambridge AccuSense PointFlow, a micro head airflow/ air temperature measurement instrument, good for measuring low airflow in tight spaces such as those in small electronic devices and enclosures.

Instrument measure temperature, tiny airflow inside electronics and enclosures : Degree Controls Inc. offers the Cambridge AccuSense PointFlow, which it calls the first micro-head airflow/ air temperature measurement instrument. It has a miniature (0.5 mm) omni-directional sensor head remotely located on a 2 meter cable, a digital display showing airflow in feet per minute or meters per second, and the ability to download readings through either serial or analog output.
The micro head causes virtually no distortion of the airflow making it ideal for measuring low airflow in tight spaces such as those found in small electronic devices. PointFlow uses a patented pulse technology to provide airflow and temperature measurement virtually simultaneously. The instrument line includes airflow testing and sensing instruments as well as embedded sensors for thermal and airflow management.
The company is a private, minority-owned ISO-9001 registered company
