Bud Industries’ PTS series enclosures are made of impact-resistant gray polycarbonate reinforced with 10% fiberglass. The IP67 rating combined with a continuous foam gasket provides a solution for housing sensitive equipment in hazardous, dusty, and washdown factory environments as well as in wet outdoor locations with extreme weather conditions. In addition to IP67, the series is rated UL508, NEMA Type 4X, and Type 6. Application environments include chemical plants, pulp/paper mills, corrosive environments, and powder/dust processing environments. The enclosure is exceptionally useful for housing access controls, lighting, control boxes, Wi-Fi and radio housings. The boxes are also non-chlorinated and non-brominated flame retardant with a UL-94 5VA rating. The new enclosure is available in 15 sizes and the cover attaches with non-metallic screws.
