Energy efficiency may be best ‘alternate fuel’

Norwalk,CT —Forces driving energy prices now and into the future are among the topics addressed in a white paper from ABB —“Energy Efficiency—The Other Fuel Alternative.” The paper also explains why waiting for a solution to be developed later could prove very expensive for industry.

The answers to maintaining a competitive edge in an era of rising energy costs are readily available, ABB contends. By applying a suite of cost-effective power and automation solutions, facilities can achieve substantial energy savings without waiting for future alternative fuels. Proven methods for industry to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact are already at hand, the company says.
