Purpose of Engineering Week includes mentoring and encouraging other engineers, and those who might pursue the profession. Engineers Week 2008, co-chaired by IBM Corp. and the Chinese Institute of Engineers-USA, includes year-round activities, reacing several million people worldwide. Emphasis this year is on expanding diversity in the engineering field and in the workplace. The
