The enhanced ReDAQ software package available from Dataforth Corp. provides an integrated solution for test, measurement, and data acquisition applications when combined with one or more SCM5B isoLynx SLX200 data acquisition hardware systems. ReDAQ enables data to be monitored and outputs to be set, locally or remotely, via the Internet. The enhancement adds ReDAQ Console, an installation and management utility that provides a single window from which the complete software installation can be affected by clicking on just three buttons. The core software runs under Microsoft Windows XP Professional and a real-time Web server, which can connect to many SCM5B isoLynx units via one or more RS-485 or Ethernet networks. No application software is required because the HMI is delivered via Web browsers. When viewed in the browser, graphical displays respond in real-time to external signals. A built-in data historian runs automatically and continuously captures data at regular intervals. Automated alarming provides the ability to set multiple alarm levels and enable a built-in SMTP client to generate an email indicating system status. www.dataforth.com
