Taipei, Taiwan – Ethernet Direct industrial-rated, high-performance IP66 IP cameras with Power over Ethernet functions are designed for Video over Ethernet applications.
The line of IP cameras serves indoor and outdoor applications. EDS Series provides Power over the Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) with Class 3 input or 12 V dc power. Compact models are housed in durable, protective IP66 waterproof, EMI-hardened housing protection. Cameras can be deployed to view objects on robotic systems, automated packaging lines, manufacturing lines, transportation, and in applications where movement and security are concerns.
There are six models. Each EDS Series IP camera features high-speed operation and frame rates up to 30 frames per second, video encoded in MPEG4/MJPEG format with full frame rate and built-in IR LED. Indoor models consist of EDS-131, EDS-331, and EDS-341. EDS-131 is a bullet-type IP camera with 24 units of LED to cover object distance up to 15 meters and built-in fixed lens with focal length of 4.3 mm, supporting 420 TV lines of resolution. EDS-331 incorporates 12 units of LED to cover the object distance up to 10 meters and has built-in fixed lens with focal length 4.3 mm and built-in IR LED. EDS-341 is a dome-type megapixel IP camera for indoor environments such as stores, banks, hotels, and other facilities.
Outdoor models include EDS-143, EDS-732, and EDS-741. EDS-143 is an IR Bullet Camera integrated with 3.8- 9.5 mm varifocal lens, 540 TV lines of resolution and built-in 1/3-in. Sony SuperHAD image sensor to offer high performance in a variety of environments. EDS-732 is an IP dome camera featuring Power over Ethernet, 2-way audio supports, and a built-in heater/fan. EDS-741 is a Megapixel IP Rugged Dome security camera with a high-performance, vandal-proof device featuring 1/3 Micron progressive scan megapixel CMOS with true day night via a mechanical IR cut filter.
