TPZ Profibus PA temperature transmitter from Moore Industries features an alphanumeric digital display that shows real-time process status and diagnostic information in user-selectable engineering units.

Model TPZ Profibus PA temperature transmitter from Moore Industries comes as a ready-to-install assembly with sensor, thermowell, fittings, and enclosure. Device saves wire and installa-tion costs by allowing up to 32 field devices (126 with repeaters) to be networked onto one, low-cost Profibus PA data link. TPZ features 20-bit input resolution to deliver measurement accura-cies of up to

Loop-powered (2-wire) transmitter offers a variety of input, output, and operation choices. It sets up from the control room using a standard Profibus PA configuration tool to handle 14 RTD and 9 thermocouple types and direct millivolt and resistance/potentiometer inputs. TPZ commu-nicates process and diagnostic data over a two-way, digital communication protocol ready for di-rect interface with an AMS, DCS, and other computer-based SCADA systems. Long-term stabil-ity allows up to 5 years between scheduled calibrations. Advanced RFI/EMI protection and ambi-ent temperature compensation guard against environmental factors that can degrade performance.

Ready-to-install temperature assemblies include a sensor, thermowell, process fittings, and en-closure combinations for mounting in general-purpose or explosion-proof applications. Complete assemblies can be ordered using one part number.
