AW-XAP enclosure system is designed to house WLAN access points, routers, and bridges to extend 802.11b/g network coverage into hazardous locations. System consists of two of the company’s AW CTB-2400 Div. 1 antennas mounted atop an explosion-proof enclosure so that a WLAN access point can be placed in a Class 1, Div. 1 area. A second model uses the company’s glass radome to allow for the mounting of stock whip antennas within the protection of the design. Enclosure is UL approved and can be specified with ATEX certification.
