Fanless design in Allen-Bradley VersaView 200R industrial computer from Rockwell Automation is intended to maximize reliability and maintain its 50 °C rating. Computer is ideal for applications where low power consumption, ruggedness, small size, and expandability are needed, such as in oil and gas, food, and mining applications. By upgrading industrial computers with a low wattage 1 GHz Pentium M Celeron processor and continuous duty hard disk drive, Rockwell moved to a fanless design which is free of moving parts. Combined with the computer, a VersaView industrial monitor creates an integrated compact way to view drawings, modify ladder logic and review manuals. Computer can include up to 1 GB of RAM, four USB 2.0 ports, two 10/100M Ethernet ports, and is available in both AC and DC versions. www.rockwellautomation.com Rockwell Automation
