Fast HMI application development software

Software supports Microsoft Windows-based systems and dedicated operator interfaces.

Pro-face America , the North American subsidiary of Japan-based Digital Electronics Corp., has announced Version 2.2 of GP-Pro EX, its “ultra-fast” HMI application development software. The software is said to speed application development for OEMs and users who need to standardize on one HMI package that supports Microsoft Windows-based systems and dedicated operator interfaces.

GP-Pro EX 2.2 HMI functions include multimedia capability, remote PC access, high-speed device linking, and a built-in control logic editor. Features include enhanced local and remote security and traceability; direct interface to devices including PLCs, motion controllers, vision systems, and barcode scanners; smart simulation and shortcuts; and expanded object animation capabilities.

New security features reduce system tampering and provide a safe machine environment by managing access to both the local machine and remote maintenance and control tools.
