filter robot, an automated filter weighing solution. The F-A747 system is designed for measuring particulate matter (PM) and is primarily aimed at meeting the requirements of the automotive industry.
The F-A747 filter robot, according to Mettler Toledo, allows for fast determination of PM with an accuracy of 0.1 micrograms. The company says the Land Rover Group Ltd. will use the filter robot to determine the amount of PM expelled by vehicle engines, especially its diesel engines. Land Rover is recognized for operating one of the largest voluntary CO2 offset programs.
Emission samples are identified by the robot using barcodes. All steps in the weighing process are performed automatically, without the need to transfer samples.
The F-A747 filter robot complies with current U.S. federal regulations within a cleanroom environment.
