Flexible, multiport rack-mounted Ethernet switch for 19-inch open-frame cabinets
N-Tron has expanded its fully-managed gigabit-capable 7026TX Series with the 26-port 7026TX-AC rack-mounted Ethernet switch, designed for installation in a 19-in open-frame rack or machine cabinet.
N-Tron Corp., a
manufacturer of rugged industrial networking products, has expanded its fully-managed gigabit-capable 7026TX Series with the introduction of the 26-port 7026TX-AC rack-mounted Ethernet switch. Like the 7026TX, this switch is designed for installation in a 19-in open-frame rack or machine cabinet. Both models feature a flexible multiport design with 24 10/100BaseTX copper interfaces and 2 gigabit SFP expansion ports. The new 7026TX-AC accepts either high-voltage ac or dc power (90-264 Vac or 90-300 V dc).
Both 7026TX models are designed with the company’s signature N-Ring technology featuring N-Link redundancy and N-View OPC server. N-Ring technology provides expanded ring capacity, detailed fault diagnostics and fast ~30 ms healing times. Multiple N-Rings—each containing up to 250 N-Tron fully managed devices—can be quickly connected through N-Link, forming redundant communication pathways and increasing overall network resiliency. The N-View OPC server easily interfaces with industry-standard HMI software, enabling integration of switch information. Additionally, N-Tron provides a robust browser interface to check and configure switch options, view network traffic, alarms and trend information.
The 7026TX products provide a range of convenient auto-sensing and auto-configuring processes. Fully-managed features include port security, local IP addressing, trunking, port mirroring, VLAN, IGMP snooping and querying, CIP messaging, QoS, LLDP, DHCP, RSTP, and optional SD configuration backup capability.
Both 7026TX models are designed for maximum reliability and provide expanded tolerances to vibration, electrical noise, and temperature extremes from -40°C to 80°C. Each unit offers LED indicators for link status and activity on each port and ESD/surge protection diodes on the 24 10/100BaseTX ports.
