Optimass Series 7000 single-straight tube Coriolis mass flowmeter from Krohne features a hygienic design.
Optimass Series 7000 single-straight tube Coriolis mass flowmeter from Krohne features a hygienic design to meet the requirements of food and pharmaceutical applications. It incorporates the company’s patented Adaptive Sensor Technology that allows the device to “tune” itself, independent of external forces and fluid density, to produce an inherently balanced meter in the most demanding processes. It delivers accurate metering for a wide range of flow rates, in seven full-bore tube diameters (1/4 in., 3/8 in., 1/2 in., 1 in., 1 1/2 in., 2 in., and 3 in.). Corrosion-resistant device provides wetted parts in titanium, stainless steel, or Hastelloy to withstand harsh conditions. Design resists blocking or fouling to allow the meter to handle high-viscosity fluids and maintain a high level of accuracy in the presence of entrained air. It complies with a range of industry standards and is approved for use in hazardous environments.
Model 520Di-dispensing pump from Watson-Marlow Bredel has spring-loaded stainless-steel rollers and a large swept volume pump head.
Model 520Di-dispensing pump from Watson-Marlow Bredel combines the ability to perform in process applications with built-in dispensing and dosing programming to handle delicate laboratory environments and demanding accuracy of filling lines in biotech and pharmaceutical production, the company says. Pump features spring-loaded stainless-steel rollers and a large swept volume pump head. It is particularly suited for vial or bottle filling of vaccines, biological reagents, and diagnostics. Full dispensing capability enables accurate batch dispensing and automatic or single-shot operation. Up to 50 dispensing programs, including all dose parameters and calibration, can be stored in the memory with full 8-character file names.
This year’s gathering of the pharmaceutical industry features new equipment from more than 950 exhibitors and an expanded conference program. Keynote presentations will include an address on leadership in challenging and uncertain times by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and a talk by an FDA expert on risk-based inspections: “What’s the FDA Looking For?” Click here for more details on Interphex 2005.
