V2-Municipal flowmeter from McCrometer features built-in flow conditioning to maintain accuracy with minimum upstream/downstream straight-run piping requirements to reduce installation and plant ancillary equipment costs. Device has an advanced differential pressure flow sensing design and is suitable for many clean water and wastewater treatment applications. It is especially useful where irregular or crowded piping and equipment make other solutions impractical or unworkable. It measures flow over a wide range of Reynolds numbers under all kinds of plant conditions in a variety of clean and dirty fluids.
A flow computer added to the unit’s built-in flow transmitter is password-protected and has lock-out features; the standard configuration has easy front panel access through a membrane-type touchpad display that can be remote-mounted. Dual engineering units capability means rate and total flow functions are independent to allow for different flow unit combinations. Device comes pre-packaged and ready to install with a built-in 3-way valve that isolates the transmitter from the process fluid flow to allow maintenance without shutting down the pipeline. It is wet-flow calibrated at the factory.
