Flywheel dc energy storage system

CleanSource DC line of battery-free energy storage systems now includes expanded power levels and incorporates several changes in the evolving product line. New models, based on flywheel technology, provide tightly regulated, adjustable dc voltage to replace or augment batteries configured with UPS systems backing up critical applications in the 100 to 2,000 kW power ranges. Units come with power ratings of 100, 140, 200, 250, 425, and 500 kW, and can be paralleled in combinations up to 2,000 kW. They accept an input float voltage from 400 to 600 V dc to supply a charging current of 15 to 100 Amps per flywheel. User-adjustable output voltage can be set from 360 to 550 V dc with
