Focus Dynamics’ recent purchase of Dietz-electronic is expected to help it establish an international manufacturing and supply network for electronic drives, motors, fans and pumps. A German variable speed electric motor drive maker, Dietz’s principal products are alternating current drive modules, covering power outputs from 0.75 kW to 65 kW. The company’s also provides customer-specific drive solutions based on its own in-house software engineering skills, which will add another dimension to Focus Dynamics’ integrated control products. “Dietz-electronic gives us the platform to begin our Focus Center strategy and plan further acquisitions as we seek to develop a comprehensive range of products,” says Mike Gulliford, Focus Dynamics’ ceo.
