Sikorsky Aircraft and Joy Mining Machinery are among the companies incorporating CAD data directly into business processes through the use of the Right Hemisphere Deep Server package.

Right Hemisphere Deep Server is a software application that takes information from CAD systems—including 3D models—and converts it into useful information for users of ERP and other business applications.

Both Sikorsky and Joy Mining are using Right Hemisphere 5 Deep Server, the latest version of the package, which contains a media asset management component that can merge and manage product information from disparate enterprise systems, including product data management (PDM}, ERP, and CRM to fully support a Model Based Definition (MBD) engineering communications strategy.
