Frost & Sullivan awards value enhancement title to Emerson

Frost & Sullivan selected Emerson Process Management as the recipient of its 2006 Award for Customer Value Enhancement for pharmaceutical industry automation hardware and software.


Palo Alto , CA— Frost & Sullivan selected Emerson Process Management as the recipient of its 2006 Award for Customer Value Enhancement for pharmaceutical industry automation hardware and software. “Emerson has a superior ability to translate business requirements into products that positively impact its pharmaceutical customers’ bottom lines,” says Frost & Sullivan research analyst Sanjeev R. Sridharan.

In its award, Frost & Sullivan noted that Emerson’s PlantWeb automation architecture has been able to differentiate it from other vendors by translating a vision of an integrated solution into reality. This has created a complete system and eliminated the need for users to add third-party supplements. “Emerson helps pharmaceutical companies achieve incremental operational advantage by eliminating islands of automation to ensure seamless flow of real-time information across the entire enterprise,” Sridharan adds.

John Berra, Emerson Process Management divisional president, is pleased with the selection. “We are honored to join with our customers for the production and delivery of pharmaceuticals that are safe and effective in providing relief, comfort, and improved quality of life around the world,” he says.
