exida, a global supplier of functional safety products, announced a business partnership with Phoenix Contact. exida is a certification and research firm specializing in safety critical/high availability automation systems, control system cyber security, and alarm management. exida’s main offices are located in Sellersville, Pa., and Munich, Germany, and has worldwide operations on four continents. Phoenix Contact develops and manufactures industrial electrical and electronic technology products that power, protect, connect, and automate systems and equipment for a wide range of industries.

Spencer Bolgard, vice president and general manager of Phoenix Contact USA, said that the partnership with exida is intended to bolster Phoenix Contact's safety and cyber security solutions.

Steve Gandy, exida vice president of global business development, said, “exida has been looking to partner with a select group of companies as a means of enhancing both companies product and service offerings."
