GroupIPC, an association of 40 Industry Pack (IP) and PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) makers, distributors, and end-users seeking to increase awareness of mezzanine modules, is holding a joint pavilion and tutorials from Feb. 18-20 at Embedded Systems ’98 in Sindelfingen, Germany. Thirteen GroupIPC-member companies are participating in the events, including Actis Computer, Aerotech World Trade Ltd., CETIA, Force Computers, IBM, Interay, MicroSys, N.A.T., RTUSI, SBS GreenSpring, Snijder Micro Systems, Tews datentechnik, and VMETRO. The tutorials will cover issues such as IP and PMC technology, its applications, and case studies. Besides the show, GroupIPC also promotes mezzanine modules via the Internet and its 15,000-circulation Mezzanines Magazine, which it says is the largest publication in the IP and PMC field.
