Hannover Fair 2004: IdaTech shows new power module

Hannover, Germany— IdaTech LLC demonstrated its new back-up power module in the Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Exhibit at Hannover Fair, April 19-24, at the Hannover Fairgrounds. The module is fueled with stored hydrogen, and is designed to replace traditional long-duration battery back-up systems. The company also is taking advanced inquiries for the first test and evaluation units. IdaTech is a subsidiary of IdaCorp Inc. (Boise, ID).

IdaTech reports that it has progressively expanded its capabilities and partner network in fuel cell applications and markets. This year, the firm has extended its reach to include critical back-up systems; enhanced diesel/kerosene integrated fuel cell systems for portable and auxiliary power unit applications; natural gas and LPG-based high purity hydrogen generators for hydrogen refueling; and industrial applications.
