High-flow diaphragm pump

Model 4002 miniature diaphragm pump incorporates an elongated, oval-shaped diaphragm with a larger-than-conventional surface area to produce higher flows than a similarly sized pump with a standard diaphragm. Slim, lightweight oil-less pump is intended for applications where space is limited, such as for gas detectors, air sampling, particle counters, and eye-surgery equipment.

Pump measures 2.1-in. (52.5 mm) long, 0.7-in. (17.3 mm) wide, and 1.2 in. (30.3 mm) high and weighs 0.09 lb (45 g). Maximum flow is rated at 0.07 cfm (2.0 lpm). Maximum vacuum is rated at 17.8 in. hg (600 mbar). Pressure versions are also available. Pump is powered by a 7-V dc motor and incorporates an EPDM diaphragm and valves. www.rtpumps.com Rietschle Thomas
