Large-capacity Coriolis flowmeter |
Emerson Process Management (NYSE: EMR) has unveiled its highest flow rate Micro Motion Elite series Coriolis flowmeter, designed to cover 10 to 12 in. (DN 250-300) line sizes with flow rates over 3,200 tons/hour. This new meter adds to the existing 0.1 to 8 in. (DN 2-200) Elite line size range, which the company characterizes as the industry's broadest Coriolis offering.
Emerson says this new line extension is aimed at manufacturers that are challenged with reducing production costs and optimizing processes in tough applications that demand high and very reliable production rates. Many high flow rate applications demand the best possible accuracy in all conditions, especially when measuring high-value material.
This latest large-size high-capacity meter is suited for pipelines, ship and rail loading and unloading, crude oil custody transfer, mud logging, marine, LNG, gas metering, and refinery blending. Elite Coriolis meters have no moving parts and deliver
