Novato, Calif.— NextStep microstepping drives incorporate internal heatsinks and fans, resulting in significantly less required panel space than other systems. Proprietary anti-resonance circuitry minimizes motor vibration and delivers optimum torque utilization throughout the motor’s speed range. In addition, the drive offers what the company says is the industry’s first auto-adjusting current loop, which adaptively adjusts the drive’s current loop gain to guarantee superior system performance from any hybrid step motor.
