High-resolution perimeter guard light curtains extend to 30 meters for safety, security

Tapeswitch Perimeter Guards designed for safety and security applications provide a higher resolution (100 mm) compared to the company's standard line of perimeter guards (two, three and four beams). The light curtains have a maximum range of 30 meters.

These new perimeter guards are available in all two series of Tapeswitch light curtains, the B series and the GS series with protection lengths of 300 mm, 600 mm, 900 mm, 1200 mm, and 1800 mm.

Tapeswitch GS-120 Perimeter Guards are for low-risk applications. Applications for the GS-120 guards include protecting hazardous areas such as automated work cells or to monitor access or traffic in secure locations. The GS-120 is compatible with existing Tapeswitch controllers.

Tapeswitch Corp. develops and manufactures sensors for safety applications, and said it has widest range of safety mat, sensing edges, bumpers and light curtain products available. Tapeswitch also carries trapped key and non contact safety interlocks.
