Parker’s Electromechanical Automaton Division offers replacement HMI hardware for its Interact software platform. The P13 PowerStation will fit into existing cutouts of many common 6-in. HMI products, including Parker’s P1, P1H, P1P, and Motion Panel. It includes a new AMD LX700 CPU, 128 MB of DRAM, and a 256 MB CompactFlash card standard. Hardware includes two serial ports, 100 BaseT Ethernet port, and 24 V dc power. Each P13 comes with Interact HMI software runtime pre-installed, simplifying initial configuration and commissioning. PowerStations are software-compatible with existing P1 family applications; a replacement can be made by downloading the project into a P13. P13 units are passively cooled, allowing deployment in the harshest environments; there are no rotating media storage devices or fans. www.parker.com Parker Electromechanical Automation
