Courtesy: EZAutomationThe new EZPanel PC HMI from EZAutomation combines the easy-to-use EZAutomation EZTouch software known for reliability and universal connectivity to all PLCs, with a powerful Microsoft Windows 7 industrial panel computer. The new EZAutomation Panel PC, from the creators of the award-winning EZTouch, has an Intel Atom E640 1 GHz processor with 1GB DDR2 RAM. Available in 10-in. and 15-in. models, the Panel PC HMI comes standard with 4 GB of SSD memory, 4 USB 2.0 ports, a micro SD card reader, 2 serial ports, and a 1 GB Ethernet port. The EZPanel PC HMI can be used as an industrial PC, an HMI, or a complete SCADA system. 

EZAutomation's new Microsoft Windows Panel PC and Microsoft Windows Panel PC HMI compact panels are available in 10-in. and 15-in. models with high resolution LED backlit displays. Equipped with Microsoft Windows 7 Embedded, EZAutomation integrates an HMI with the expansive potential of Microsoft Windows-based applications. Ease of use, powerful functionality, and universal connectivity to most PLC protocols continues with the Panel PC HMI, offering connectivity to more industrial communication protocols, such as Allen-Bradley's DataHighway Plus and Remote I/O, Profibus, DeviceNet, CC-Link, and Modbus Plus (via optional add-on card).

It is powered by a 1 GHz processor with 1 GB RAM providing performance and speed. The 4 GB Solid State Drive included (up to 32 GB optional) and a built-in MicroSD card reader provide superior memory for data collection and other memory hungry software. One slave USB port can be used for programming from a computer, or the EZAutomation programming software may be loaded onto the Panel PC to program it directly from the same device. Three master USB ports offer universal connectivity to various peripherals and devices, such as printers, bar-code scanners, and weigh scales, that need to be integrated into a controls process.

The HMI runtime software (EZ SoftHMI) provided on the Panel PC HMI is designed to be scalable to any size window within your display, adjusting to your optimal resolution. In addition, this software is neither limited in tags nor in the number of screens that may be programmed. The EZAutomation Panel PC HMI is 100% U.S. manufactured and supported, providing an all-in-one solution for process and automation controls needs.
