HS35 hollow-shaft encoder now has finer resolution. High resolution is obtained using robust internal interpolation electronics to multiply internal signals without degrading accuracy. Interpolative multiples of 2x to 16x are available, providing up to 80,000 cycles per turn. Device yields a maximum resolution of 320,000 counts using standard quadrature detection. Heavy-duty encoder has a rugged cast metal housing and dual preloaded bearings. It features rotating shaft seals and a sealed connector for NEMA 4, 13, and IP65 ratings, and can accommodate shaft bores up to an inch in diameter. A compact installed package length of about 2 in. makes it suitable for equipment with constrained mounting space. www.beiied.com BEI Industrial Encoder Div.
