San Diego, Calif.- Holocom Networks , a provider of patented, final-300-feet-to-the-desktop-zone cabling infrastructure solutions, recently released Wireless Gateway, a secure, ceiling-mounted enclosure housing wireless electronics for companies seeking wireless network connectivity.

Wireless Gateway helps office designers, IT and facility managers provide LAN connectivity, while reducing or even eliminating most cabling. It can be used in an entirely wireless building, or used to augment an existing LAN with the flexibility of wireless connections.

Concealed in ceilings, Wireless Gateway’s enclosure houses wireless access points to a company’s network, especially in situations where ceiling cabling drops and poles aren’t acceptable. The compact plenum-rated enclosure mounts in standard drop ceilings, and houses a variety of wireless telecommunication equipment, including standard wireless hubs and access points.
