Northford, CT; Uster, Switzerland— To enter the large and growing hazardous gas detection market, Honeywell International reports that it plans to buy Zellweger Analytics. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval, and is expected to close in 2005’s second quarter. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.


After the deal closes, Zellweger will become part of the Life Safety business unit within Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions. Zellweger


Zellweger manufacturese assets, and prevent costly plant shutdowns. Zellweger has offices throughout Europe, Asia-Pacific and the U.S.
