Honeywell, Servoflo add pressure sensors to product lines

Two companies have introduced new pressure sensor products. The Fujikura X2 Series, sold exclusively by Servoflo Corp. , comes in a variety of models. Honeywell 's SDX Series sensors are said to provide a small, low-cost, reliable pressure management solution.

X3 Series of pre-amplified 3-V pressure sensors from Fujikura of Japan is available from Servoflo Corp. Accepting a supply voltage of 3 VOn-chip amplification and temperature compensation are said to make the sensors easy to use. A variety of package styles are available. Non-corrosive gas is used in all models except the XFGMC, which accepts some non-corrosive liquids. Applications include industrial automation and pressure switches.

Two new offerings in Honeywell's SDX Series sensors include the ASDXL and ASDXL DO pressure sensors. They are designed for applications that require precision pressure management at measurements as low as 5- and 10-in. w.g. Potential applications include pneumatic and HVAC controls and medical equipment. Devices are fully calibrated and temperature compensated with on-board application specific integrated circuitry (ASIC). I2C compatible protocol allows easy interfacing to most common microcontrollers and microprocessors without additional components or electronic circuitry.
