In-transit data logger is immersible

Immersible data logger from Saelig Co. Inc. can log ambient temperature every 1 sec to every 2 hr.

Immersible data logger from Saelig Co. can collect up to 8,000 sample readings for liquids or packages in transit or process measurements. Ki-8818 standalone device can be programmed to log ambient temperature every 1 sec to every 2 hr, placed in a package or vessel, retrieved, placed on a serial interface, and data uploaded and displayed on a PC.

Logging temperature range is -40 to 85 °C. With PC and supplied programming software and RS-232 or USB cable, over- and under-temperature alarms can be set to trigger a red LED if thresholds are exceeded. A green LED indicates the unit is recording satisfactorily allowing a user to determine if safe conditions were maintained and transit times were not exceeded. Data logger lists at $199.
