Industrial control panel maker enters U.S. market

Hoffmann + Krippner is launching its OPAL (“operations panel”) brand of operator interface panels in the U.S.  H+K is an established German maker of membrane keyboard technology and complex input systems.

Peachtree City, GA–Hoffmann + Krippner is marking June 1, 2009 as the day it enters the U.S. market for industrial control units and operator interface panels. From its offices in Georgia, the company will launch its OPAL (“operations panel”) brand. An established German maker of membrane keyboard technology and complex input systems, H+K develops and produces input solutions for industries ranging from electronics, medical technology, and engineering to aviation and military technology.

OPAL is a standard operations panel, a modular industrial interface panel for controling machines and other fabrication equipment. It is available in various standard sizes (5.7 in. display, 10.4 in. display, and 12.1 in. display), and comes with or without resistive touch screen technology, an emergency button, and key lock system.
