Industrial grade flush touch screen panel PC
To give users increased flexibility when selecting an industrial grade Panel PC, Nexcom has added two Intel Atom D525 CPU based platform.
Nexcom added two 15-in Intel Atom D525 CPU based platforms which support resolutions by up to 1024x768 to their line of available products. APPC 1520T/1521T hosts a range of power inputs and an abundance of useful I/O interface features.
The Intel Atom D525 processor features, low power consumption and a small package size. By incorporating the Intel Atom D525 processor and DDR3 memory, the fanless panel PC, APPC 1520T Series, has reportedly doubled the computing power of similar N270 CPU based products. With multiple power inputs, from 12 V to 30 V, APPC 1520T Series is a good solution for telecoms, factory and machine applications.
The all-in-one compact APPC 1520T Series hosts a variety of I/O interfaces which offers a number of connecting capabilities for controlling subsystems and automation hardware, such as devices within warehouse, logistics and access control. In addition, the back cover can be easily removed to access the additional 2.5-in HDD and two mini-PCIe installation for wireless application.
The front IP65 compliant panel provides protection from water and moisture damage which allows users to clean the surface directly using high-pressure water jets. This feature makes the APPC 1520T series suitable for applications where stringent hygiene levels are important, such as within the food and beverages industry. Nexcom's APPC 1520T Series has a special HDD damper which protects the device from shock and vibration.
Two variants are available, APPC 1520T is the standard platform, whilst APPC 1521T has two RS-232/422/485 COM ports with isolation to address industrial applications plus two additional RS-323 COM ports. In addition, one GPIO port for 4 input/output is available for digital control. There is also an optional CAN bus interface to communicate with CAN bus devices.
