Spectrum Controls’ new full-color InView industrial message displays are designed to handle the harsh conditions of the factory floor while maintaining industry leading brightness and longevity. The InView is designed to communicate productivity, status, and alarm conditions to the factory floor and are available in two sizes: 39×9.8 in. and 69×9.8 in. Both displays are available in NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X enclosures with a brightness of 1800 nits. The InView full-color display has a 6.25 mm pitch and room for up to five lines of text.

Along with the full color display, Spectrum Controls offers a communications module firmware upgrade to the InView that is focused on improving the existing software and implementing new display features. The firmware upgrade enables bi-directional message scrolling, improved diagnostics, and a color message editor. InView supports EtherNet/IP, EtherNet TCP/IP, and Modbus TCP/IP.

The firmware upgrade debuts Easy Tag, a new functionality that eliminates the need for special programmable logic controller (PLC) programming. It also reduces the complexity and time required to establish communications between the display and the controller. Worldwide technical phone support provided directly from Rockwell Automation’s TechConnect program is included with the purchase of all Spectrum Controls InView marquee displays and input/output (I/O) modules at no cost.
