Ronkonkoma, NY —Family of Optrex industrial TFT LCDs from Apollo Display Technologies is backlit by long-life white LEDs and supported by a comprehensive range of value-added enhancements. Available in diagonal sizes of: 6.5-in., 8.4-in., 10.4-in., and 12.1-in., LCDs are designed for high-resolution display of color images from static to full-motion video. The 6.5-in. unit is available in VGA resolution, 8.4-in. unit in VGA or XGA resolution, 10.4-in. unit in VGA or SVGA resolution, and the 12.1-in. unit in SVGA or XGA resolution.
All provide high information content over wide operating ranges with high brightness, wide viewing angles, and high contrast ratios. The 6.5-in. VGA LCD has a brightness of 390 cd/m2. The 8.4-in. and larger sizes are backlit by ultra-high-bright white LEDs and offer luminances ranging from 250 to 600 cd/m2. Enhancements include industrial open-frame monitors to provide easy drop-in design for use in a variety of applications, including machine automation, industrial control, and medical. Other options include anti-reflective (AR) front surface treatment for daylight readability, ultra clear touch sensor (with 87% light transmission), and a white LED constant current driver board (single or dual rail) with analog and PWM dimming capabilities.
