Industrial wireless hotspot serves as access point, bridge, and repeater
802.11 abgn Fast Industrial Hotspot from ProSoft Technology supports fast roaming between access points.
The 802.11abgn Fast Industrial Hotspot from ProSoft Technology is an advanced, high-speed wireless Ethernet solution designed for critical manufacturing and process control systems. It offers a wide range of wireless capabilities and solutions, using advanced packet optimization and fast roaming needed for high-speed material handling and assembly systems.
These capabilities are well suited to systems using EtherNet/IP connections for machines and platforms traveling long distances in assembly plants, crane systems, automated guided vehicles, and mining. The secure, high-speed wireless network reduces project costs while improving productivity. Applications can be freed from the problems of communication through rails and slip rings. Industrial construction carries C1D2 and ATEX Zone 2 ratings, with an operating temperature range of -25 to 75 °C.
