Piqua, Ohio-based Hartzell Fan has launched an e-commerce website called FansInStock , which features a select group of general ventilation fans from its HRS stock program. The website allows customers to receive a customized quote for the products they select and the ability to purchase these products online all within a very short period of time.

Broadview, Ill.-based Unified Group has announced the membership of HVAC and architectural construction company Four C's Service . The United Group is an independent association encompassing more than 50 of the country's HVAC commercial contractors, representing more than $1 billion in revenue.

Danfoss product manager Mark Hegberg received the Exceptional Service Award from ASHRAE during the society's annual meeting June 20-24 in Louisville, Ky. The award recognizes ASHRAE members who have served the organization faithfully and with exemplary effort.

Easton, Pa.-based Victaulic , a global producer of mechanical pipe joining and fire protection systems, announced it has purchased AquaFlex USA , a provider of flexible connections for sprinkler heads. AquaFlex USA products are in accordance with NFPA-13, 13D, and 13R, and UL 2443.

Minneapolis-based U.S. Energy Services announced that it has acquired Integrys Energy Services. Integrys provides energy consulting and information services for facility and corporate customers in the areas of risk management, strategic sourcing, utility data management, and demand-side energy management. U.S. Energy Services will provide former Integrys Energy Services customers access to an expanded list of services and attention to carbon management strategies, as well as expanded reach to European markets.

Chicago-based S&C Electric Company was named a winner of this year's R&D 100 Awards Competition, for their new IntelliRupter PulseCloser. IntelliRupter incorporates PulseClosing technology, which injects multiple, non-disruptive pulses into the line to check for faults before initiating closing. This eliminates the equipment-damaging stresses associated with power restoration using conventional reclosers.
