Minneapolis, MN – PointWatch Eclipse point infrared hydrocarbon combustible gas detector is a diffusion-based device said to be designed for fast field maintenance. The detector requires only minimum service and inspection time thus maximizing instrument availability. The PointWatch continuously monitors hydrocarbon gases in the 0-100% lower explosive limit range. Its standard outputs include an insolated 4-20 mA signal with HART and RS-485 serial communica-tion. Heated sapphire optics, which have quickly removed weather shielding to speed inspection, ensure operational reliability.
