Allen-Bradley DeviceNet safety scanner and I/O device let manufacturers place safety and standard devices on one network, simplifying control system design in complex applications, such as those in automotive, semiconductor, packaging, and food and beverage industries. Scanner connects directly to the Allen-Bradley GuardPLC, allowing the controller to send and receive information from standard and safety devices, including I/O blocks, programmable controllers, and HMIs. Users can configure the scanner using Rockwell Software RSNetworx for DeviceNet and connect up to 63 DeviceNet devices to each scanner; 32 can be safety nodes. Equipment is TÜV-certified for up to SIL 3 and Category 4 and feature configurable solid-state outputs.
