Kvaser AB's PCIEcan 4xHS is an integrated controller area network (CAN) card that adds four CAN channels to any standard or industrial computer board with PCI Express capability. Offering silent mode, error frame detection/generation, and an on-board buffer, this add-on board fits many embedded data acquisition systems and is CAN-FD ready. The PCIEcan 4xHS has an average response time of 45 ┬Ás and has an onboard designed to prevent messages from being dropped. It is fully compatible with J1939, CANopen, NMEA 2000 and DeviceNet and has an operating temperature of 0 to 85 C. It also has galvanically isolated CAN bus drivers, which makes it useful for standard and for industrial computers.
