Intellution releases iFIX 2.5

Foxborough, Mass. –Intellution recently announced the release of iFIX 2.5 designed to address increasing needs to extend HMI/SCADA solutions to include connectivity with other business systems. iFIX 2.5 enhancements include iClient, a thin client designed to take advantage of Microsoft Windows 2000’s terminal server functionality and create a centralized, full function iFIX client/server engineering development and management environment. Additionally, iFIX 2.5 makes VisiconX, Intellution’s programming free relational database tool, part of the standard product; includes a capabilities sample system designed to demonstrate 2.5 features users can cut, paste, and modify into their own solutions; improved Visual Basic 6.2 support, improved project management capabilities; alarm counters; improved graphic conversion routines; and one-click registration to iGlobalCare support services.
