Intermec RFID hardware first to be certified for use in China

Intermec 's passive UHF RFID readers comprise the first RFID hardware to be certified by China's State Radio Regulation Committee (SRRC).
Part of China's Ministry of Information Industry (MII), the SRRC ensures products sold for use in China meet the country's standards for RF devices. The committee requires compliance testing for RFID devices before they receive the necessary certification. Test results must conclude that RFID hardware meets China's newly released RFID bandwidth and standards requirements.
Intermec's RFID products have been used on a large scale in asset tracking, warehouse, and transport and logistics applications in China since 2005, bringing new levels of productivity, visibility and efficiency to the supply chains of several government agencies.
Intermec RFID hardware approved for use in China:
