Courtesy: ViegaThe Viega SmartLoop system is an internal recirculation system designed to help maintain water quality by reducing water stagnation. Ideal for use in multi-story commercial applications, Viega SmartLoop uses a supply riser to insulate the internal recirculation line tubing and keeps water hotter longer. Water within the system remains in constant motion, which reduces the risk of waterborne pathogens, including legionella. The SmartLoop system offers several advantages including energy and water consumption savings potential of up to 40%. SmartLoop installation requires no separate return pipe and uses less insulation and fewer fittings, supports, penetrations, and core drilling than a conventional recirculation installation. Installing SmartLoop with Viega ProPress technology eliminates the need for soldering, brazing, or grooving. Viega SmartLoop is Zero Lead compliant with lead-free legislation.
