New York, NY— Iconics launched its new, real-time, manufacturing intelligence software for regulated industries, BizViz, on opening day at Interphex 2005 , April 26-28, at the Javits Convention Center. BizViz enables pharmaceutical and other regulated applications to collect, manage, analyze, and share of real-time information. Iconics produces Web-enabled, OPC-based, HMI/SCADA and manufacturing intelligence visualization software for Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Iconics adds that BizViz assists users with accurate, up-to-the-second, real-time information. Robust security management and a single sign-on service provide access to enterprise information. Personalized, role-based dashboards deliver relevant content from various systems to authorized staff in an intuitive framework. This gives production line supervisors, plant managers, global supply chain managers, division leaders, and CEOs accurate, real-time information from all enterprise systems to streamline efficiency and increase profitability.

In addition, configurable key performance indicators (KPIs) enable real-time performance tracking against set targets. BizViz supports lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and demand-pull process improvement initiatives with many KPIs used in the pharmaceutical industry, such as OEE, cycle time, and productivity. Iconics adds that BizViz embraces the collaborative manufacturing framawork, and extends it via a reliable and OPC-based interoperable platform that can be customized to meet specific needs. Automated and on-demand reporting capabilities with advanced analytic functions help decision-makers visualize trends, perform root-cause analyses, and identify opportunities for performance improvement.

“Tracking multiple real-time KPIs helps pharmaceutical customers to dramatically decrease the cost of compliance, increase manufacturing efficiency, and deliver new products to market faster,” says Jindrich Liska, Iconics’ business development VP. “BizViz is a suite of products that incorporates revolutionary data mining and integration technology, and allows data bridging, viewing, and reporting of any real-time or enterprise data source. BizViz fast deployment and scalability deliver high return-on-investment to FDA-regulated industries.”
