New York, NY —Krohne’s Optiflux 6000 electromagnetic flow sensor for hygienic applications in the pharmaceutical industry recently received 3A sanitary rating 28-03. The device is on display at Interphex 2006 at the Javits Convention Center here next week.
Suitable for steaming in place (SIP) and cleaning in place (CIP) applications, the device is FDA/3A approved and EHEDG certified. It is capable of conductivity of non water >1
Model is one of nine in the Optiflux family featuring “3 x 100%” diagnostics to provide continuous information on the state of the flowmeter, measurement, and notification of unnoticed application faults. These include application diagnostics to monitor the flow profile, accuracy diagnostics to monitor flowmeter performance, and instrument diagnostics to perform, among others, self checks for damage caused by incompatible liquids or high temperatures.
